And how cool is that!!! The TC is taking care of sound quality and options. I'm using my Alter Ego x4 always in buffered mode, because of the trails... love to hear after I disengage the delay.

That's good, but it would be better to just explain all of this in the manual...and make the complete manual easy to find on the website. Went looking for that for the TC Sentry and only found it via a Google search. And there's no explanation at all of the second switch in it.

Maybe there's nothing to be gained by doing kill-dry in the Pipeline pedal but I found no difference to be heard even at the choppiest deepest setting. I AM confused about the TonePrint switch though. Does that allow me to allocate TonePrints to ALL the subdivision positions or does it only affect the Custom position? As the default factory pedal I hear a difference in the default Custom position but all the others go back to sounding like Vintage even with the switch selecting TonePrint

This is an awesome feature. May be a dumb question, but does the buffered bypass function while the pedal is not engaged? I.e. if my hall of fame 2 is off, is the signal heading back to my amp buffered (it's last in my chain)? Same question on the front end with the polytune 3.
@abysmillard784 жыл бұрын
If you have Buffered Bypass selected, that means that the pedal buffers the signal when off. In fact, this feature is ONLY apparent when the pedal is off; when the pedal is engaged, it's already buffering your signal. The alternative, True Bypass, means that when you're pedal is off, your signal goes straight through, unaffected, unbuffered.

I was lucky to find a torx screwdriver laying around in my house. I removed the plastic PCB cover and the dip switches WERE ACTUALLY THERE. My 1st get Flashback delay just doesn't have the window cut through the black plastic pcb cover plate for them for some reason.

Yep, no mention of them at all in the Pipeline manual but they're there inside. The online manual, should you go searching for it, mentions the buffer switch but not the second one even though it's got one. But switching it appears to do nothing. No audible killing of dry even when chopping. Not that I'd expect to use it that way but experimentation is the mother of invention! Maybe that's why they don't mention it. It's just a residual leftover, like bellybuttons and male nipples...
