A little late to the party, but the Rekluse dampers are much, much better than stock. They come in a set with a new tab washer. TacoMoto has a good video on this subject.

If you run the bike/clutch hard the stock dampers won't last long (20 hrs. ish..). The 2022 Rekluse dampers will fit the 2023 KTM 450 SXF and is a great upgrade. Great video. Thanks.

I've been using the Rekluse dampers for a while now, they last a LOT longer than the stock ones. I think I've got a good 100 hours or so on the dampers in my 300 clutch, and the 450 has maybe 40 hours on them and it's still tight.

OK.... Uh, So which is the lighter plate pressure?? and Which is the heavier plate position?? X or Y or Z ???? Thanks...

I don't remember which is which, but the retainer plate has 3 levels of steps on the back that correspond to those letters. The thinnest position is the highest effort/highest clamping preload, and the thickest is the lightest effort/clamp preload.

Did you use that inner hub again or did you replace it ? i got the same wear on my hub at the sides like yours on 3:18 and im not sure if i should replace it or re use it. Thanks!

I reused it after smoothing out the galling lightly, and ran it that way for at least 100 more hours until a valve failed and took the engine out. It's not ideal, but it didn't seem to hurt anything.

@@gearheadE30 alright thanks! Are you still riding that bike today ? Or did you not rebuild it after the dropped valve
@gearheadE302 жыл бұрын
@@TheJoren1 I bought another one, there was too much engine damage to be worth rebuilding the old one and it had 350 hours on it anyway.
