Love this tutorial, any way you could answer 3 questions? LoAir, your thoughts on replacing it by RBass? Black Box, any alternatives to this? What if changing key, any method you recommend? Many thanks!

Hi Martin, any Saturation plug-in that you like the sound of can be used in place of Black Box. The tone of these basses can be very sensitive to subtle adjustments with a saturation plug-in and quite often it is about letting your ears guide you to what tone you like the sound of. So load some different one's up and experiment to find one's you like. Lo-air and R-Bass are actually quite different in the way they work. Lo-air generates content below the fundamental frequency of the sound whereas R-Bass produces harmonics above to help reinforce. Both have their places depending on what you need. As for changing key, I'm assuming you are talking about the bass changing whilst following a progression, and in that case if you wanted to change note one thing you could do is process the different notes using this workflow on separate tracks. Hope this helps! - James.
