Hmm, that's a tough to answer question because it really is important to know your priorities. To me - I often use Google Maps, like the top button as app launcher and generally prefer Wear OS to Tizen OS, so Ticwatch 3 (or any other Wear OS based device) seems like a better idea. Galaxy Watch 3 on the other hand has better display, and the rotating bezel is a great way to quickly navigate in the menus.

It is a chest tracker, and not another watch. I use the Chest mount - Polar H10 connected to the phone, and run at the same time an activity on the watch. The first pulse increase was incredibly accurate, but then it somehow didn't register the spike.

@@TechMishka Yes Fossil are good, and they did add some new things... Which I never use!! why?? cause the battery can't hold it sadly... I can solve this by putting the smartwatch for a quick short charge at the end of the day at work, but than I'll be charging it every night and some short time at work, kind of doesn't sound nice... the ticwatch on the other hand (I wish it would really be now on my other hand lol) would survive much longer due to the secondary screen at least in my usage...

How do you feel this watch compares to the Oppo 46mm? I like that the ticwatch allows for a Bluetooth heart rate strap. It seems like wear os fitness capabilities are limited. Love your channel btw!

No need for excuses - this is what comments section is about. I wish I could respond faster, but ... I also have my limits :) Now - to the questions: yes, you can respond by speaking. You can view and answer to emails. There is GPS and Google maps is supported. The e-SIM edition is available for certain regions only - better check with your operator if the watch is supported, because that part is tricky. But you get the LTE-edition idea correct. As for swimming - I've seen some people reporting that the watch has died after some time. Mine is still fine and I swim with it from time to time.

The GTR 2 can make phone calls, has already a better software setup, uses ZEPP app and has Strava integration. The Mi Watch has a bit more accurate GPS. So - I'd say - yeah, for 135 it's great!

I had one of these watches which I bought in December. In February it started to do the sensor not working thing and eventually mobvoi said I should return it. Mobvoi support is another thing entirely. It is not that they are rude or unhelpful (they have sent a replacement) but that they take weeks to respond and will not listen to you but just follow their procedure. In my case it took about two weeks of email back of forth explaining the to them that they cannot use normal post for my country and agreeing that we would use a courier at my cost. When the watch finally arrive there, despite me emailing them numerous times to verify that they would use a courier and how I could pay for it they just sent it normal mail (so I doubt I will see the replacement watch). Looking on their forums and around the internet this issue definitly seems to be somewhat prevailant on an otherwise good watch. I don't buy the shower explination as I never shower with any watch on (that just feels strange to me)

@@TechMishka No, the postal tracking has frozen after it left Hong Kong (which is what I expected). Mobvoi does not repond to their customer support email addresses and their official forums is full of people requesting support and not getting it. It is worth popinting out that while this may be a great watch it does seem to have a hardware flaw in it (based on the number of people complaining about the same thing) and when you hit this problem dont expect any support at all. SO if you want a great watch for a couple months go ahead and buy one but dont expect to still be using the watch in a year after purchase.

Spoke to them today and they are trying to get the china office to send another replacement this time with a courier. Holding thumbs they will be successful but at least having someone understand your problem and say that they will try fix it makes a big difference. That said I have been without a watch now since March.

Ticwatch pro 3 I love it but got few problems. 1. Randomly occasionally will not answer calls on watch and direct it phone, inconing call or out outgoing call. Have to restart to fix tgis issue. 2. Send message option from google disappears. 3. When you receive mutilple whatsapp msgs, it stops showing all of them and only shows two msgs. Once you've read it even just clicked and not read, msgs disappear so you cant go back to them on watch. 4. If you turn off locatio to save battery, weather does not update.

There are some workarounds to make it run (it is e-SIM, and nota real SIM), but as far as I know Ticwatch do not officially sell it in the states. Better look around for alternatives.

Hey Derek, thanks for this post. Let's see how I can help: - the WearOS app asks you which accounts you want to add to the watch once you do the pairing. So yeah - you can import the account data (including contacts) that you need. - you can see the full notifications content - the pictures are visible, I think even in the video there's a segment showing a shared photo over Whatsapp - Depends on the attachments - but some of them - it supports Google maps, and navigation works well And that's true - in Europe you have the LTE version and the price these days is pretty good. A follow-up video with more details on these is not planned, and I hope my andwers have helped you. At the end - if you don't like the watch - you can always return it.

Would you recommend this watch over the Samsung one? I haven't used Tizen at all, but have had a WearOS watch for a few years now (LG Watch W7). As with my W7, I like the fact that the Ticwatch has a second screen/alternative way to read the time, so I'm leaning towards it. Any thoughts?

Owning the Tic watch pro LTE and owning the Samsung gear LTE watch I would still pick the tic watch. The reason is Google assistant. I can do pretty much do anything through my watch with my voice. Unlock my house, turn on my lights etc etc. I love it!

IP68 does not mean waterproof, nor does it cover anything other than dust ingress and room temperature, fresh water immersion, if you want something that can survive hot water being jetted at your device you need IP69k
