Thank you for the video. Just ordered the OBSBOT Tiny 2. I spent a fair amount of time filtering through all the options on Amazon and KZbin. You simplified the choice for me!

I ordered both and ended up being a bit disappointed with the Insta360 Link. I returned it in-favor of keeping the Tiny 2. It was not necessarily the image quality, it was the user interface of the software. It would not maintain the settings and each time I started a Zoom call I would have to set the camera up again… from color to position to all other things. Very frustrating. Besides, the Obsbot Tiny 2 really is an amazing camera. I don't love the manual tilt/pan adjustments in the software, which is where the Link really was nice with a drag-and-drop style positioning. but that was really the only place the Obsbot software needs help. I'm sure they'll tweak those things in future updates. So, long story short, I found both the be really great cameras with surprisingly wonderful image quality… but the Tiny 2 just took the edge with slightly better overall scores for me, as well as a nice carry case (for when I travel with it), and most importantly… the image settings stayed put and didn't need to be redone each time I turned the camera on.

Very helpful comment, thankyou! I am looking to buy the Tiny 2 to use to watch my clients in our Pilates Studio while I am overseas. I want it mainly for picture quality and for the horizontal panning. How easy and responsive is it for panning? This is a major thing I'll be using to check their technique around the room?

I feel like there might be an entirely better option for something that is trying to see an entire studio, but perhaps I'm wrong. The camera can certainly zoom-in, and the panning is nice. I'm not sure how easy it is to do remotely, but I'm sure there is a way so long as you can access your entire computer remotely, I see no reason you couldn't. For my needs as a webcam and for recording training videos… it's the perfect camera. @@pilatesexclusive2504

It is said, one of the drawbacks for at least the link 360 is focus when two (or more?) people are in the field of vision. It doesn't know which subjest to follow on when in the AI follow mode.

Thank you so much for pointing that out. As a blind person who's been after a self-tracking webcam, you've just decided me. I would have to have someone set up presets for me and know that they're going to stay as I'll have no way to check. Ngā mihi nui

Insta360 is $249 from the link mfr website at present (-$50) . Hard to beat! You will want an external mic but for "active streamers" (I like to pace) of folks who do 2-hands on demos (like hatching quail babies), having a $250 webcam is essential. Now if I can just afford an new laptop, I would be in like flint.

What is the smallest PTZ camera with optical zoom? Since I presume optical zoom is better than digital zoom of these cameras?

Might be that Logitech have some, not sure about the exact models though.

Surprised to see how well the Tiny 2 performs in low light. Might be the deciding factor for me

Can you disable the microphones on the Tail Air? As a former radio broadcaster I wouldn't be caught dead using on-camera mics of any stripe.

It is possible to mute the mic, yesh

Both cams are great, but I think Tiny 2's additional AI features justify the price. It's about long-term value

Both look great, but I'm curious how they hold up in a real-world setting. Anyone tried using these for daily Zoom calls?
@TechMishka8 ай бұрын
I did. Both are excellent and Tiny 2 is slightly better about image quality

insta 360 link has better picture quality and sharpness in regular lighting. the tiny 2 wins in lower lighting. i am not sure what you are looking at. even in your video the insta 360 looking better in sharpness quality in regular lighting. You also did not take into consideration that some of us have macs insta 360 link wins there for sure

Err, no. Physics is physics and Insta360 is not at all better. Which doesn't make it a bad one.
