Just got it for a great price. I dont want to get the auto dust empty bin u luss they make one where u dont have to buy the bags. Still great that i can get one down the road if i decide i want it.

It won't fall down. I haven't seen a robot vacuum without such sensors in the past years.

There is an enable mode to detect stairs. Dont know how good it is as i dont need to use it but its a feature.

Thanks for the review. Do you stand by this review a year or so later? Yeedi appear to be selling for a crazy discounted price of £100. All be it the version without the base station.

Software is still not as good as what I hoped to see, but the robot still works fine.

Yes, I always do that, event though the instructions advise otherwise.

Either way, I'd happily buy this Yeedi seeing the hardware and app and it really is so close to the Ecovacs.

This is a flawed robot vaccum cleaner. 1. Doesn't do mapping properly. Biggest drawback 2. Lacks LiDAR sensor. So navigation isn't good 3. Gets stuck under furniture 4. It can't even go in straight lines to vaccum 5. Needs ample light. Cannot work in dark or low light 6. App is slow. Everytime it has downloading phase 7. Cannot find base station(many times) 8. The map can suddenly change 9. Robot will skip some rooms 10. Obstacle Avoidance is pathetic. Not even basic Obstacles it cannot detect

Thanks Satya for sharing this! Agreed - the lack of LiDAR is notable in some situations, but it is quite OK in terms of orientation. It was able to find the dock each and every time I've ran it at home. The app supports now multi-floor maps. Can you share with us a layout of your map/home? Would be interesting to see how it;s positioned.

Yep, mine will sometimes clean under my sofa and other times it will not due to the amount of light in the room. Overall I like it but have no datum point to compare it with since it is my first time owning one.

The vacuum looks almost unused when you review it. Not a single piece of dirt can be seen :)

It is only for the static shots. For some others - I get to spend a lot of minutes to remove the dirt. With black models it is even worse and takes even more time 🙃

It may leave marks if the floor is too dirty. Running a second cleaning task in a row can help.
