It amazes me, the sometimes lightening swift, sometimes draggy passage of time . . But what Jerry Lee speaks of here is timeless and wonderful to hear!! I'm Thankful I got to hear it, Praise God!

Beautiful and sincere. He's been to hell and back - he's had a hard, hard life that would've completey broken a weaker person. He's a survivor. God bless him for all the joy he has brought to so many people.

I met Jerry Lee at a small kentucky county airport in 1969. We talked for a while that evening as he waited for a cab to drive him over to Williamson, WV. where he was to preform that night. He talked straight, was just himself. A man just like you and me. Told me that he had been very broke after the DJ' s banned his music, but was coming back. I never forgot him.

He lived it as it came -- and though it all, he won. And thanks to all the gods and angels that he did. Jerry Lee Lewis' talent is not one that can be shuffled to the side. He's genius in numerous ways. And I thank those gods and angels that let me live long enough for his music to be part of my life.

This made me tear up a little bit . He was a master of sentiment and emotion . A true entertainer all round , of the ragtime order, just a bit of boogie woogie mix in . He was up there with Scott Joplin.

For the lunkhead who who could not appreciate this song and declared that God is a myth: Only God Himself could make someone so blind and stupid that they cannot believe He exists. You are one of His creations, breathing His air and eating His food; He designed your heart and keeps it ticking so you can keep rail- ing against Him, using miserable, lower-level beings like you for his own purpose, which is to use you for a prop, a backdrop, as contrast, so we may better dis- tinguish the truth and the light against blatant idiocy and in- effable darkness. I am not the ultimate judge. If you are not too far gone, there is a way out for you, if God Almighty wills it. Otherwise you shall one day perish physically like the rest of mortal men have, through the still lapse of the ages, only your soul will be eternally lost. I do not wish this for you. It is out of my hands. Peace.

YRS AGO, SAT DOWN FOR A SUN. AM BREAKFAST, IN A RESTAURANT IN DALLAS, LOOKED NEXT TO ME, WAS JERRY LEE ALSO. I GREETED HIM & SAID GOD HAS GIVEN YOU GREAT TALENT! I ASKED; " WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO GIVE UP R& R AND START DOING GOSPEL?" (I KNEW HE HAD GONE TO BIBLE SCHOOL) HE REPLIED; " WHEN THEY START PAYING ME $26,000 A NIGHT, TO SING! " I SAID; " JERRY, YOU CAN'T TAKE IT TO HEAVEN WITH YOU.. ONLY SOULS! -B.D.

Wish our World and Country would give God the Glory like the Old Day men did, back when God Blessed this nation, before we started murdering babies, our human kind, for the worthless dollarsof this fallen world, and condemned our souls. Miss Jerry lee,Elvis,My adoptive parents. As a Vietnan Veteran, I'm ashamed,Hurt, and saddened at tge World,Mostly at my Country,my fellow man. " For ALL shall stand before the Judgement seat of God and give account if their doings in this world ". " Firvtgecwages of sin is death " and I for one deserve it and as a man of Truth and Integrity,I welcome it. How sad must Jesus be at us.

Ironic in this appearance he mentions "If I had $5 Million" in that song, and he immediately introduces his daughter Phoebe Lewis to the crowd. As it turns out, $5 million is exactly the amount he is now suing her for allegedly giving him a cocktail of drugs to control him and keeping him in a moldy house where he had to wear a mask all the time.

good comment, ive lost 2 brothers and my dear son. and dear old mum and dad. don't judge any one unless you know their story. cause some of us just have to blow out now and then. then we come back trying to be ok. but every now and then the pain just creeps up on you, out of nowhere

I have always liked Jerry's music especially his piano playing. His private life has been a turmoil to say the least, his drunken performances and the people he has hurt and insulted on the way. But spare me the finding of the Lord and then the Maudling speeches about loving everyone bla bla bla.,That doesn't exonerate him or any of the people who lead such lives and then nearly die but live to tell the tale. God didn't bring them back from the brink of death, the Doctors et al did, be grateful to them not this invisible God who apparently very "cleverly created this earth in 6 days " and all the billions of small creatures and of course us humans, I guess he really did have to rest on the 7th day. I wonder if he created all the other planets in the universe and the numerous galaxies Hmmmmmmm !!!!!
