Well, you probably know by now, but convergence is making sure all the IP destinations are pingable and reachable. This is done by completing the routing table with all the destination prefixes. Also, keep in mind that this is done so using static routing. (manual configuration)

my bad, it can also be a dynamic routing process lol. The technical term for completing the routing table is basically convergence.
