I was initially excited with logseq DB version but it just took too long, ended up abandoning the wait.

I completely understand where you are coming from. This is especially as there is still so much to do, so I am not sure when a relatively "finished beta" will be available. I feel they could have made some updates to the md version of the app which was last updated in April 2024, but then again I am not a dev so not sure how much effort would be required

Any news on an official Android app for Logseq?

Hi, unfortunately, nothing yet and I suspect there will be no news until the DB rewrite is over and done with and the devs can work on other parts of Logseq
