I tried to do this in order to learn the Warzone map without being hunted like crazy the entire time. Turns out this no longer works on CoD or I'm missing something between Wireguard & CoD. It DOES show my location being wherever I change it to, but games are all in my local zones.

Thats cause he has no idea what his on about nolag vpn is made for call of duty a Normal vpn is missing call of dutys ip it needs to connect to hense high ping a call of duty vpn only sends half the traffic hense low normal ping any normal vpn is sending all data / traffic .. You need call of dutys server ip address for it to work and also for the vpn to allow yoo to edit the server configs lol

The location in mw3 settings changes, but I am still getting NA lobbies even connected to Japan. You'd think you'd get some Japanese names in the lobby but that's not the case. Long story short, doesn't work :/

That's how it's supposed to work. SBMM thinks you're in Japan, but you still matchmake in your location. It's basically applying the more relaxed sbmm that countries with small CoD populations have to your matchmaking without affecting your ping.

Netduma definitely works and a lot easier. Be prepared to put a small fortune down for it. When it first came out I payed over 300 usd. But Now you can get it a lot cheaper. Didn't use for bot lobbies. I used it to keep my ping down on COD games. So when you click into a match the search wont go all the way up to 50 to 100. It will stay in the area of 15 to 28. This is my experience. I have good internet too. Not sure if it works with a basic internet package. I ran into hard times and sold it. So now I'm dealing with Activision predicting my ping again. I will buy another one very soon.

I use a netgear router with express vpn firmware. Ping depends on location. It sometimes finds games like 50 to 150 ping. But in game its just saying a 20 to 45 ping. And thats good enough to play.

Only ever used NordVPN but it has the same feature, they call it split tunneling. Doesn’t seem to work for breaking SBMM though unfortunately. Better off grinding camos during those rough SBMM algorithm games to avoid getting tilted.

Was the first line a question or statement? The VPN was indeed working and ran several outside tests to confirm. In the example you reference, it's just a matter of Activision recognizing a VPN and throwing others trying to do the same (such as those other English names) into the same lobby. The point being that when you use a major VPN who cycles through the same batch of addresses, it's not rocket science for the game developers to flag them.

I added an explanation mark just for you.. If you had a strong enough laser in transceiver and your very own string of fiber, you still couldn't ping turkey under 100ms. This is why you get the 200ms ping time when searching for a game using normal VPN service. Its actually taking all your data there. You're not connecting where you think you are. 100% i did the free trial on lobbygod....the lobbies were way sweatier than my normal lobbies. and even ran into numerous rage hackers. switched locations 7 times and it was the same. glad i didnt pay for it. also renewed my old subscription for NoLagVPN(which i used back in verdansk on warzone 1) and it used to be hit or miss bot lobbies...same thing....my lobbies were even sweatier. idk what to try next, ive heard SBMMOFF is a good one but i dont wanna waste the money if its gonna be the same bs.

Works fine for me, I have PIAVPN as a provider. I created a config for Singapore added the COD IP as allowed and connected. COD shows me as in Singapore and was getting 2-30ms ping.
