Actually, the screen guard cracking is a good thing. It helps diffuse the shock which prevents damage to your actual screen. You should always replace your screen guard once you drop your phone.

Yes 70 rupees screen guard is much better because it never breaks. I installed it on my pixel 7 pro. The phone fell from the almost 5ft height. The screen guard was totally fine only the display got damaged

It's not about if any screen guard breaks or not, it is about if it can save the main screen by absorbing the shock and may be breaking if shock is hard. These cheap screen gaurds may not break but there are high chances of these transferring the shock to main screen and breaking main screen instead.

If you run your mind you can think cheaper one as a plastic sheet (just assume) then that plastic will bend itself without taking any impact and what about things inside? On other hand assume costly protector as a shield that takes all impact to itself but is is made up of glass so it shattered but absorbed maximum impact. But i suggest if you are not so careless or have kids in your house or if you are rich then apply costly one. Other wise all indians knows.....
