I think you should express this Transformation is powerful where SQL Server and ETL Server on the same box. If I am wrong let me know. Thanks for educating community. You are right Kris, This is important Transformation. But it is slow transformation even on same servers as it generate SQL Statement for each of the record. Merge Statement can be better instead of using this for UPSERT (update/insert) operations with using Staging Table.

hey great video for learning but what if you have two condition for where like id=? and firstname=? how to map that?

you map it in the "column mappings" tab. Shown at around 4:12. Each input column can get mapped to a parameter in the SQL statement.
