I've used both the speakers. Boat sounds get distorted for high volume which doesn't happens on JBL. JBL gives better sound quality compare to boat.

Yes, distortion at max. volume is more on stone 200. JBL offers better clarity. But people play music mostly at 60-70% volume, so distortion difference is negligible. Btw every small speaker distorts at some level on full vol. I also noticed this distortion difference a few weeks ago when i was playing both speakers at full vol.

I'm using Boat stone since Dec 2018 and till date its going good. Battery works for around 6 Hours at Full volume. Boat's sound is higher than JBL and tough too. My experience with Boat is very well till now. I suggest you to throw your money on Boat.

Boat speakers are loud no doubt in that, but you'll get crisp and clear sound in JBL always. This i have seen with almost all boat and JBL speakers, Boat's full volume is very loud compared to JBL, but sound starts to crack and you can feel the distortion in the highs. Where as in case of JBL, even if you go to the full volume, rarely in case of few songs you'll feel distortion, otherwise they deliver crystal clear music at high volume without compromising bass and treble.
