I just recently stumbled on your channel. I am very impressed with your reviews and comparisons. Your go wonderfully in-depth and I appreciate how pragmatic you are. Keep up the great work! One critique I'd have is to consider shooting some b-roll to juxtapose with your videos. I know that this will involve more effort across the board with filming and editing but it can really increase production quality and even keep viewers more engaged by giving them a bit more to look at. Regardless, I think you're doing a great job and look forward to more videos.
@TechDeals8 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and the feedback... I agree with you on the b-roll stuff, it is just a time thing... If I do that, it will cut the number of videos I can do in half. I'll get there, but I need a full time editor first... When I get help, the quality level will jump...

Do you think it is a good idea to get the gtx 1080 for 1080p gaming? Hear me out. I plan on keeping my build at a maximum of 10 YEARS by playing on 1080p to 1440p on a single monitor; I'd go for 3 monitors but I plan on just playing on 1 monitor and the other monitors are for other stuff like web browsing and movies. Would you recommend going for the best card out there in terms of longevity of the build? Can I also assume that the 1080 will be able to run games in the next 6-10 years in 1080p at max and at least 60fps?

The only thing I dislike about this card is the orange accent. I'm still trying to figure why the hell they chose orange. I understand the red (oh, I'm so aggressive, rawr!), the blue (futuristic tech is blue second to the Bible), the white (mommy, I'm sober and elegant), and even the yellow (stingy!), but man, orange? Really? Are teens into orange recently? Anyway, I'll have to buy this model, since the other ones are too expensive where I live or too big to my m-ITX case. Thanks for the video!

Hi I got the g1 1070 before 3 months ago and my Z600 workstation is shutting down after the upgrade. I suspect that I have power issues because every time I go ultra settings on games the pc is shutting down. According to your video a 500w psu runs perfectly, but my psu is 650w. My workstation also has x2 xeon x5650 and 48Gb ram. I thought that the two xeons and ram draw much power and I took out a few ram. So now I run at 16gb of ram but still I have the same issues. What do you think?

Juan Araujo It sucks because Newegg Canada has far fewer in-stock 1060s than the U.S., and the EVGA SC version that I'm looking at appears to have never been in stock to begin with according to NowInStock.net. It's a bit disappointing, but I guess patience is a virtue! :S

+JustBlayne Yeah! for the 1060s and the RX480s stock is definitely limited, especially if you're not in the U.S. Hang in there my friend, you'll find one soon enough. I actually just yesterday gave in and went for the ASUS GTX 1070 Strix 08G model. It's a BEAST. Can't wait to get it delivered. BTW I don't know if you can do this from Canada, but check out jet.com, which is where I got my card. They have promo codes for discounts that you can use. I just used a promo code and I saved 50 bucks right then and there!!! Definitely something to consider.
