And because it is not natively built in the phone's software from samsung/android softwere, the third party apps he is installing could potentially result in privacy compromisation. I mean sure you can get it but you have to do it thru Chinese software which is dodgy to begin with. Second the integration and quality is trash, it is nothing but a knock off. You can bet the user experience of it is terrible unless a first party like Samsung is making it.

The difference is on iPhone it’s going to be integrated into system, notifications and applications. In Android, at least this thing you present is just a low quality hack with issues like cut text on 1:34 and its not even centered. It’s not hard at all to just add a black spot on the screen
