How to Fix Steam Games Crashing on Startup Tutorial
This issue could be due to a corrupted or antiquated graphics card driver. Updating the graphics card driver is a common resolution for fixing Windows game crashes.
Steam is well known to crash from time to time either on startup each time you launch it or it crashes randomly. This is a very common problem that is addressed by Steam on their official forums as well. The fixes listed there, however, do not seem to work.

Games on Steam will run on any platform that Steam supports. The games will have their own minimum system requirements which a system must meet. If a system fails to meet the minimum hardware requirements, the game will either not run, or it will run at its lowest possible settings and it may still lag.
This troubleshooting guide will work on Windows 11, Windows 10 operating systems (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) and desktops, laptops, tables and computers manufactured by the following brands: Dell, HP, MSI, Alienware, MSI, Toshiba, Acer, Lenovo, razer, huawei, dynabook among others.

@@RealMakxo Packs are listed alphabetically, you may already have it installed. If so, make sure it's updated. If not, there should be a search button. Only so many buttons on the screen at that point, shouldn't be too hard to find.

I had an issue with Steam in which some games (Assassin's Creed Origins, Grand Theft Auto V) which wouldn't connect me to their servers when I tried launching the games from within Steam and after many different attempts to solve this issue, I thought of launching the games separetly from their launchers alone, without opening Steam, and it actually fixed my problem and now I can once again launch those games from within Steam. Now the more complicated issue I had was with Forza Horizon 5, which I also own on Steam and I don't have any launcher for that so I just went with my gut and went into its files location in my PC (on Steam Right Click on the game Manage > Browse Local Files), then from the folder I selected the .exe file or the Application icon that launches the game then Right Click on it and there was the option "Troubleshoot compatibility" and so I clicked that, I followed the steps and then I launched the game from there and it once again worked and now I can start the game from within Steam without any issue. Hope this might solve your problem if the solutions from the video didn't work as it didn't for me either.

@@OVERz0_0 settings on the windows toolbar, then apps. Basically you need the windows feature pack to play games. If you upgrade from windows 7-> 10 It was removed, and you need to manually reinstall it.

Friends, if you are still trying to solve the problem, one of the things that solve it, if you have the Vjoy plugin installed on your computer, try to uninstall it to see if it works. There is some kind of conflict between Master Duel and Vjoy that doesn't allow the game to open, I hope I can help at least some of you ^.^. Amigos se vocês ainda estão tentando resolver o problema, uma das coisas que resolvem, caso vocês tenham o plugin do Vjoy instalado no computador, tentem desinstalar para ver se funciona. open steam and then go to your task manager. Once your there and see steam, right click on steam and click expand all. Then your going to want to right click the top "Steam Client WebHelper." Then click properties, click compatibility and click run compatibility troubleshooter. Then try recommend settings and click next. Then exit steam and finally see if your games work.

This didn't fix my issue, my games still crash on startup. If you have any advice, please reply to me, Spending hours trying to get steam to work again. I worked before, but since I did the free upgrade to windows 10, it doesn't work anymore. At least I think the windows update is what is stopping it from working. Everything else works fine on this laptop.

all of these don't work. It's pretty weird, I just disconnected my internet, and then the game (Elden's Ring) can be started. But with internet connected, it just automatically closes after the prepare to launch. By the way, not all games are like this, I can start cyberpunk 2077 no problem

I ultimately found a solution on my own. The game was missing some DLL files and I had just downloaded the game and hadn’t tampered with the files. I had to find the DLL files and download them from a trusted source. Then I had to download Microsoft c++.
