The instability of Intel cpu recently is the cause of my decision diverting to AMD

My 14900K overvolted itself, oxidized and degraded to death on finals at Nursing school, so my hand was forced to switch to AMD, it was well worth it with the 7800X3D.

its good to have 2 CPU manufacturers instead of just 1. It makes them to keep prices lower and bring us better products.

No one should buy Intel rn, lets state facts here, Intel gen 13 and 14 has a degredation issue literally melting themselves. There is no choice right now either AMD or kick yourself in the nuts.
@kienquochuynh1106Ай бұрын
Team blue won't like to hear this 🤣🤣
@vahngaming7107Ай бұрын
@@kienquochuynh1106 yeah but like it or not, just stating facts. All my older systems were intel but my recent build is AMD, just being realistic. Also in the video he mentioned intel is upgrading? But from what I heard they are even asking the US gov for financial help. I am not a fan of both and I want them to compete so we have better products with reasonable prices.
@mrlooneycooney89483 күн бұрын
@@vahngaming7107big companies will always ask governements for cuts and extra input, that doesn’t say anything. Intel is still way bigger with a vastly larger revenue then Amd. Don’t ever think otherwise, Amd has a seriously long way to go to compete on the entire marketshares of intel 😅 They probably have focussed on other things then only the consumer/gaming market, which is still a very VERY small part of their revenue.
@vahngaming71073 күн бұрын
@@mrlooneycooney8948 i dunno what your arguement is. I didnt even mention which company is bigger or dominant. I am merely stating the facts that if you purchase intel cpu specifically 13 and 14th gen your in for a head ache. I dont know what your on about defending companies and I dont really care which company is bigger, I am just saying no one should buy intel since they are not a good investment. if you gonna go fan boy on either of these company go talk to a wall or someone else.

Any mention of Intel melting themselves? I missed that bit. IMHO AMD or uppercut at this point. No offense, but just tell people the facts.
@TechfluencerАй бұрын
I mean, they often play with price where Intel suffers in performance issues.
@iLegionaire375529 күн бұрын
In 2024, you are gambling buying Intel over AMD for x86 processors. I hope Intel can make a comeback but I'm just stating the facts.
@kienquochuynh1106Ай бұрын
People choosing Intel because of their "stability" but they never understand how good AMD has evolved and improved. Intel also killing their gen every 2 years while AMD extended their socket so ppl won't change every few years. It's just the fact AMD win all but shame they still believe Intel is better than AMD 🤣🤣Look how Intel did this year
@Icy-zk9rhАй бұрын
Sure I guess... But I don't know why Intel is on top of the benchmark. Listen, I didn't make this up. It's just there.
@kienquochuynh1106Ай бұрын
@@Icy-zk9rh like I said, "stability". What's the point proving Intel is better on benchmark while the price is always expensive and it consumes more power? Ppl are not that drunk to believe Intel will crawl back at this moment
@Icy-zk9rhАй бұрын
@kienquochuynh1106 Well, intel said about the next generation of Intel core and ultra about removing the "i" in their product, but not today.

@kienquochuynh1106 Also I'm a laptop user, not a desktop user. So I can technically buy one with AMD, however I've grown up with intel processor so it's really hard for me to switch.

I was an AMD fanboy decades ago, but ever since I switch over to a 1st Gen I7 6 core Sandy bridge from an Amd Dual core I never look back to Amd ever again. Everything I build/bought since then has been only Intel and NVidia. Intel was less headache in term of crashing software's/programs. Amd line up currently is very interesting to me in specs, but I am afraid to return to failing and crashing cause of software operating on it. A lot has changed since then so I do wonder how well it performs in today standards. Only way to know is to use them and gain your own experience, but that can be very costly.

i have a 12700K works perfectly. Then i have a 7800x3d works also perfectly only issue with the AMD i have till now is, when i do a simply reboot it will hang like in a loop with blackscreen. Its intermiten not every time. Maybe its the Gigabyte x670e Aourus pro x board i dont know. Its also more finnicky with RAM. So in general i think Intel still takes the cake with compatibility.

Ditto, was one of the first people to own a 1ghz+ CPU in Canada when they came out. Very much loved AMD. Nowadays I generally prefer to USE my computer rather than spending time fixin/tweaking and Intel always delivers with uptime and stability.

Leaving out the massive stability issues with Intel's 13th and 14th gen processors is a crime, this is the first thing you should let people know about. Just don't buy them. Not only do they have stability problems, they degrade. There's also a manufacturing issue with the ones produced i 2022 were they suffer from corrosion.

AMD lost its edge somewhere in the P4/Athlon era, before that they totally made better cpu's than Intel. Nowadays buying AMD is the same as throwing your money away. Literally every person I know who complains about shitty performance and odd crashes run AMD.

You need your glasses adjusted, AMD post Ryzen has handed Intel L after L in the x86 processor marketplace. And Intel in 2024, has gone out of there way to sell AMD Ryzen processors to the masses by design and their own deliberate choices. Raptor Lake was a massive failure for Intel, there is no way around it and I liked Raptor Lake's performance, Raptor Lake like Rocket Lake, severely damaged Intel's reputation.
