I have the A7 Lite. I chose it for its portability and I use it mostly for reading e-books. While I was travelling, my laptop broke down and I had to use the tablet for work. I paired the A7 Lite with an external keyboard and away I go. I found that it was capable enough to handle document editing and multitasking. So, I would say that it can help you when you're in a pinch. But, I would not use it for working regularly 🙂

@@theunboxingend2004 I think it's alright. The auto-brightness can be a bit 'strange', so I adjust the brightness manually whenever I need to.

@@cobaltblue5523 it's holding up just fine :-) I still use it for reading e-books and I occasionally watch movies on it. It is a bit sluggish when I multi task on it. But, it's still tolerable. If you can get the A7 or A8, then definitely go for it.

I just bought an A7 tab lite at costco. I just want a second tablet. I look for an android bellow 9inch. I put an 1tb sd card. It's better than apple for watch video due to the aspect ratio. With android, i setup many advence options like an split tunneling VPN, MAC address and name randomization, force the instalation of youtube for mobile insted of tablet. That tablet exeed my expectation. I dont regret it. I have a 2000$ ipad but android tablets are greet companion to accomplish those task that apple can't do. Fun fact: That tablet is rated 2/5 on costco canada becose people want to save money and expect that tablet to run as eficent like a brand new iPad.

A7 Lite is like their version of the iPad Mini. It's expected to have a smaller screen and be smaller then a full-sized tablet.

I had a fight with myself when buying the a7 10.4, cuz i'm a tech entusiast and i want nice high end stuff, but i realized that for my needs (playing rhythm games, Google earth and writing and reading documents on the go) this tablet is enough, and it is. Even if its not super responsive when multitasking, it gets the work done. Also, it has a pretty cool premium alluminum touch which i like, and some software capabillities such as floating windows and more. I think is a good value if you can find it way cheaper than an iPad (i got it for 1/3 of what an ipad costs here).

Agree the A7 is better than the Lite. I however bought the A7 Lite LTE as i prefer the smaller size to use as my drones FPV. I also like the fact that it takes a sim card, for calls and data and that's a big plus.

I have an A 7 lite and it's just the right size for me. I do go out alot and it's easier taking it out than taking out a larger device like the the tab A 7. I am a casual gamer so I only play light games.I use my tab A 7 lite mostly for school.

I'm still rockin' the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (SM-T280)! Most of my gaming is done via bluestacks. I just read manga on this. But with Steam Link, I can still play most games anyways on my Tab I can't wait for my Tab A7 Lite to get here! My current tab can't keep up with most things now

I got the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 as a gift I use it as a 2-in1 tablet a backup for my laptop. I wanted a smaller device for simpler tasks so I bought the Tab A7 Lite. Got it in 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. Some apps are slower than others and the camera isn't great but for the price that's what you should expect.

I know this is Samsung v Samsung in this video but I think in general that you cannot compare the Tab A series with either the ipad series or the Tab S series. They just cannot compete either in terms of performance or support from manufacturer. I think the A7 only gets one OS update compared to minimum of 5 for ipad. I think ipad is 125 euro more expensive than the A8 but its way better and lasts a minimum of 5 years.

It does not matter how long Apple will update the iPad for. My iPad mini 4 is now unusable. Ever since the mini 6 came out. My mini 4 slowed way down. Takes forever to load an app. And like the battery usage is now 1% a minute. Overnight, mine went from 100%, to 34%. Over like 10 hours. So it doesn't matter how long they update it. If they always slow down when next years tablets come out.

They gave me $70 instant rebate, $50 for my old Samsung Tab A tablet (Which I wasn't using). I didn't want the 7 Lite. I think the A7 light...a good fit for drone use. I'd even reach for A7 as a better fit for drones. The only draw back is light condition outside. But could be fixed with an accessory like sun shade.

The pen and S7 hooked me bc of the great hardware and the fact that there were so little delay on the the drawing. Then I saw this video and thought the A7 was great to the price but did not fully understand if it was worth vs the S7 In one of your video you comperet the S7 to another tablet, but the drawing on the other tablet look delayed and buggy. Hope you can help me and sorry for my english, I do hope it make sense ☺️😅

@@peterglarn5100 the Tab A7 does not support the S-Pen. That is a Tab S feature. Maybe a used Tab S7 or a Lenovo Tab P12 Pro (assuming it's in Denmark of course).

@@cobaltblue5523 Too slow. I wouldn't recommend it. Just hard finding a tablet this size with GPS and mobile Sim that isn't an idevice. Maybe a Nokia T20 would suit people better but then you're getting close to used iPad mini territory which is a better device.

@@cobaltblue5523 Because I'm mounting mine in the car, I don't want it to be too big or heavy as I'm using the cd player slot to hold it. It works, a little slow on initial bootup and allows me a custom launcher but it could be better. The first gen iPad mini is faster and I can get a used one for $100 AUD. If you just need a cheap small tablet without Sim or GPS (does the iPad have GPS?) Then I would definitely pick that over this.

I got the A7 Lite to replace my old 2015 Tab S2, 8” fabulous little tablet. A7 is not on the same league when it comes to quality. Specially the camera. Plain bad.

I personally think that these 2 can't be compared to each other. If you just hear "lite" in the name, you'll probably be able to guess that it is not going to be as same as the standard version. I actually own an a7 lite, for me it runs asphalt 9 with high quality graphics smoothly. I experience frame drop issues very rarely which makes the gameplay more playable. But I do really like how the both tablets can be available in the same ram variants so I guess storage space would not stand as a big difference. Although it makes sense that the a7 lite could also be called as mini since the a7 is larger in screen size and battery. And speaking of battery, we all know Galaxy tab a7 lite supports up to 15 watts or more but the box doesn't contain that fast charger so I use a 33 watts charging. I'm just saying to suggest a higher speed so no one has to deal with slow charging anymore. So I would recommend and go for the tab a7 if your looking for a high end device.
