Internet speed greatly depends on the signal strength. May not be stable all the time. Wired internet is more reliable and stable. If internet is down then everything is down...tv, movies, work, cctv camera...so 3rd world war will start at home. The cabling is not concealed inside house. The cabling will look dirty on walls.

This thing is designed for those areas which don't have the optical fiber network. Then I don't understand the logic behind launching it exclusively for metro cities first. Jio 5G is very widely available even in villages, they need to add more locations to this air fiber, basically it's nothing but a 5G hotspot device after all.

Its true that the 5g services are widely available in villages as well. But as of now Jio is providing it free of cost as it is in testing mode. Once the test period is over and 5g will roll out commercially (april 2024) then you will get to know the real trick of JIO.

I got huge bill with act fiber. Later they said they will give 100 Rs per month and even that they did not give. We removed the entire box from our house. Then under special consideration they gave separate box only for us. Make sure only to your house you get connection

wired fiber internet in small town is very unreliable, my bsnl fibre see frequent down time. Iam very hopefull that these airfiber will bring stable internet. waiting to launch in my area. one point to note that power consumption is more in this device i.e almost 40watt/hr means 1kw per day,if router working 24x7 then at rate of 6rs/unit monthly amount of 180rs ...well its even better than frequent down internet like bsnl,iam totally fraustated with.

There is one major difference, Jio Fiber has 3300 GB FUP, Jio Air Fiber has only 1000 GB FUP. In case of Airtel, both their fiber and airfiber services have 3333 GB of FUP. Airtel air fiber is hugely better in terms of FUP.

Reality mai btata hu. >> Agar Tv normal TATA SKY HD ke jaise 1080p me dekhna chahte hain to other phone & PC devices ko chalane ke liye 100-mbps ka speed kam hai. TV continuosly data khati hai TV me loading/Buffering irritate kregi apko. Mere ghar 40 mbps ka optical-fiber hai, eksath 1080p only 1 devices me best chal paygi baki me bufffering start ho jaygi. So TV wala chiz bhul jao. TATA sky HD is better choice for TV. and agar apke area me normal optic-fiber hai to Air-fiber bekar hai apke liye. jada paise me kam speed. Its only good for outer area or village area jaha fiber available nahi hai. 2nd >> koi agar aisa sochta hai ki 300 rs ki DTH recharge ke bajay 100 mbps wala connection le leta hu. Par fir bhi 100mbps is slow for TV atleast 200 mbps is require to run TV smoothly. also DTH interface is easy-peasy where Jio fiber settop box requires a lil bit knowledge (technology-familiar) to get used to it.

No one is mentioning about power supply to the out dore unit, if there is no power, Device won't work. We need inverter/generator setup to work when no power. We can't use any power adaptor to make it work.

if you have fiber optic get fiber optic. Better to invest in a good UPS to keep internet running instead of getting air-fiber. But if you do not have airtel/Jio Fiber then go for AirFiber.

Very nice review. Specially you shared the FUP details which is never shared by sales team nor the installation team. Even nowhere it is mentioned in the site that 1000GB is the limit post that its not even 2GB soeed. I have raised ticket but customer service says it's mentioned in website which is wrong.
