Is it brushed or brushless? and Andrew do you feel a noticeable difference when your using your 4Amp pack versus your 2amp pack in these X12 series tools. On the X20 series you can often sense the more power when using the 4amp packs versus the 2amp pack and Im wondering if that is also the case on the X12 tools or is it only runtime you get with the 4amp batteries?

usually only parkside performance tools come in a "brushless" option , other than that 90 % are brushed like this 1 , yes in general not only you will get more running time but you also get more power and better performance with an 4ah/8ah battery pack ! Same is felt when using a 2ah vs 5ah on X12 series , for me i just stopped buying 2ah battery for both tools ! Hope this helps someone ;)
