Actually the price is not bad at all, considering youre getting pretty much everything. At first I thought you were selling just the PCB and soldered components without ESP32 and the sensors. But you included everything needed for the project 👍. The price is worth it imo

These diy products are great but nobody talks about false triggering , which is a major problem . I'm facing this problem myself

@@techiesms while switch heavy load from the socket in the electric board which is even not connected to iot switch , the whole system do false triggering and sometimes reset.

Since smps is sealed place 300v mov will prevent high vótage spikes from disturbing its working also a 1000MFD 16V OR 2200 MFD AND ABOVE CAPS ON OUR power rail of esp if still having issue change SMpS TO HIGHER AMP RATING..

sir instade of this relay why you are not using solid state relay using (BT136 tric) it is more stable for AC devices. In 5v relay after long time it is making problems by getting magnetic itsef. But in solid state relay this will not the problem and at the +point you can operate heavy loads like (air conditioner)also. And your project will get more compact.

Make use of detachable bus connectors for DC connections and let those screw types connectors only for A/c power supply. This will ensure that there wouldn't be any mistake of connections and esp32 board will be safe ,as it is main processor (💖)of the board

Hii, nice 👍 video, There is 1 problem in ur code we can't use Alexa to control fan speed, To solve that, In void setup > coustom fan device u need to replace "level_param. " by "speed. " And also replace "custom.param.level " by ESP_RMAKER_PARAM_RANGE Now u can control speed through alexa. By the way thanks for providing video on this topic.

Used your code, I switched on the fan then went to sleep. In the middle of the night there was a power cut and when the power came back the fan did not start on it's own. So there's that. I had wake up and switch it on again. the worst part is that there was 6 power cuts that night. So no, it's not perfect dude.

You seems to be using 17Amps relay is that correct? the main common trace for all the relay's seems to be very small (i.e 17A x number of relays). If this is just for lights and fans, then better to have 5Amps relay, is there any over current protection / fuse?

Actually its a good project but not secure if the temperature of the pcb circuit is higher. I suggest to use ntc thermistor and small fan or use your dht11 sensor in order to turn off all the appliances when the temperature is high This is not negative criticism, but you did a good job and you must pay attention to all aspects
