Make sure you install the latest ESP32 Board package version. Secondly, delete the previous ESP32 audioi2s library, download the new one and install it.

I have a question I wrote a program which controls light using an ESP32 and it's also connected to a webserver so when I plug the ESP32 on a computer and upload the code, it works but when I try to connect an external power supply, the program doesn't work Any idea?

@maisrico.daytrade The ESP32 needs to be connected to a computer to run the program, but I want it to work independently when I load the program onto the chip and connect it to an external power supply.

I’m guessing that you mean when you power it up independently, the program never runs, it just sits there. (Pure guessing, let us know below if that’s what’s happening.) I don’t know anything about ESP32s, but I’m guessing it needs to get a reset signal from somewhere to start program execution. (When it’s connected to the computer, I imagine that the software on the computer is producing the reset or start-execution signal. Maybe someone who knows about ESP32s can tell you what to do to make sure the program starts running as soon as power is applied.

Theoretically no limit I tested it by asking 8 words long sentence and it worked But sometimes it miss out longer phrases due to noisy recording
