The example of bus is good but representation is not right in my opinion. 1. Engine is processor. Stronger the engine, faster it will gain speed and faster it will do the work. 2. Gates is RAM type, more numbers of doors (channels) and wider the doors, it will be faster for people (data) to get board and leave the bus at destination. 3. Number of seats is Capacity of RAM. More the seats, bus will process more people in single task. Storage is irrelevant in speed, Storage is more like size of platform on Boarding and Destination point.

One more thing, if you are a techie, remember to check whether the company of the phone you are buying allows bootloader unlocking or not. I hit my foot with an axe by buying Vivo iqoo z9 because Vivo does not allow OEM unlocking. Heck you cannot even run ADB commands on it. Also, DO NOT buy mediatek processor phone, even if the company does allow bootloader unlocking, mediatek processors do not get as much support from the community. Even if it does, it may not allow you to do stuff like changing kernel or decrypting your phone.
