I guess I'm an old fart, but I never can get with the music these speaker comparison videos play. Why can't they try some Vangelis, some Santana, some of that Mongolian throat singing, a bit of sitar and a few minutes of Tibetan singing bowls? That would give us a good idea of the mid and high ranges at least, with less blatant pop.

@@the_nomadic_ajith few percents less bass than Charge 2+, bass increases in small room (bathroom for example), or against the wall 10cm. Overall very clean and "studio monitor" feeling. A bit more powerful on max volume (7+7W jbl vs. 12+12W tribit). Very good.

... Tribit. Tribit make EXCELLENT speakers without exception and to add to that, they are rugged and unbelievable value for money. Their latest offering, the Stormbox Mini, is a feat, up there with the best... Better than the Bose Soundlink Mini which is much more expensive. To better any of Tribit's speakers, you'd have to spend 2 - 3 times as much, if not 4 times! Their products are not just great, they are amazing!! ANY Tribit speaker... you can't go wrong.

The Tribit is like the little engine that could. On paper you would think the Tribit wouldn’t stand a chance. I’m totally wrong though, of course. My ranking would be maxsound first, followed closely by JBL, and pulling up the rear is LG.

for portability and good sound - TRIBIT for bass lovers who doesn't care about one driver configuration - JBL for those who love clean balanced sound - PK5 ( you can use an equalizer and push 62hz all the way up and 32hz down to make it play lower bass a little bit more and play with the frequency according to your liking. )

LG sound boxy, like it is made of a cardboard. Just the strange mids stands out. Jbl lacks definition in highs, it sounds like low bit rate mp3.. Tribit is maybe not so busted like jbl, but is clean and precise all way from high to the bass. I own Jbl charge 3 and the Tribit and seriously jbl only advantages is the bass but for everyday listening Tribit is the really pleasure.

LG is clearly the weakest one (also dislike the ridiculous light show), JBL and Tribit are almost on par, with the JBL providing a slightly more "rounded" experience. Seems like there's a kind of "hole" in the Tribit's frequency range, resulting in a subtly thinner overall sound. By the way: I own the Tribit. ;)

Ich war nie ein großer Fan von der Soundbox XL. Mich hat da immer was im Hochtonbereich gestört. Der LG PK5 hat kaum Bass, da bringt auch der "Enhanced Bass"-Modus nur minimal was. Der kleine Tribit kann da echt verdammt gut mithalten!

@@christianguerrero2622 kommt darauf an, was du ausgeben willst: mehr Power hat auf jeden Fall der Charge 4. Mehr Power haben dann der Xtreme 2 oder der Teufel Boomster NG. Oder, wenn du ne richtige "Partysau" suchst, dann sowas wie der aiwa Exos-9.

tribit has less bass than jbl ... but sorry it half weight and size :D and has much more bas and it's much clearer than LG ... I heard better than tribit MS it is tronsmart force :P

I had the tronsmart force and it distorts badly, It's only good in lower volumes. I have the LG as well and it sounds clean without over boosted bass not the best but ok for background listening.

Charge 4 is "probably" better than PK5 but no way Flip 4 is better than PK5, Flip 4 sound muffled. Said probably because they have their own strength, PK5 sounds cleaner but Charge 4 has better bass.
