I think you forgot to say (problems for the 2 x kits of two RAM sticks)... if you wish to run 4 sticks *buy a kit that contains 4 sticks.* These are (or should have been) tested and matched so you shouldn't run into the _mismatched sticks_ problem (correctly supporting 4 sticks in your motherboard to their maximum is still a lottery though). Also, whilst I agree to a point with your comment about the CL (column address strobe latency) of RAM, the biggest gains can be found with secondary timings. For example, my Corsair 6200MT/s CL36 RAM gained about 12% overall when the sub-timings were tweaked. It also makes me laugh about timings these days, I have a Corsair set of (2 x 512MB) DDR400 that runs at 2-2-2-5-1T and another set of (2 x 1GB) DDR438 that runs 2-3-2-6-1T. Lastly, the price you showed almost made my shed a tear remembering back to when I got my first kit of DDR5 memory. It was at the launch of the 12th gen CPU's and my 32GB of Kingston Fury DDR5 4800MT/s CL38 was closer to $AUD500. Early adopter tax and a lack of stock worldwide in part caused by COVID.

This is the thing, the Corsair RAM was from a 4 pack, and yet managed to find the issue, but, as stated it was a few frames, not really noticeable unless you frame peep... :) Yeah those times were crazy!
