Finally someone stuck a baofung heart into a ep32. Now you can have a self contained, mountain top, solar digipeater. this beats the snot out of LORA. 2 watts on VHF? yup.

I saw a mage on the OpenRTX page that said there are two revisions of the t-twr. 2.0 and 2.1. 2.0 apparently doesn’t have an audio out to the MCU to decode packets from RF. I haven’t had any luck getting my t-twr plus v2.0 to decode APRS from RF. It decodes from APRS-IS.

I just got one of these. It doesn't decode the APRS packets received over RF. Transmit on High Power causes it to shut down.

Do you have problems with 2W operation on high in tracker mode? If your device crashes, there is a small hardware mod for that. 😉You didn't show the radio function with subsequent APRS transmission.

Hello ! I don't understand how the wifi setup is supposed to work, it's seems to be impossible to acces the wifi network for setting the TWR, I try two computer and my phone. Did somebody understand how to did it ?

PS : My wifi network use 18 caracteres so I can't setting it into the menu via the TWR, it only take 14.

Did you try to disable the connection to router and just enable to the access point mode?

@@TechMindsOfficial I find a way to set the wifi. I set my phone in "hotspot" mode, and I set the parameter of this hotspot with the original name and password of the application (APRSTH and the password). So I was able to connect the TWR with his new wifi adress (you can see it on the phone) from my phone and set my home router wifi parameter via the web interface. How much are these? im a fellow Brit now living overseas in Singapore and id like to set up a vehicle tracking network with these on the free and open bands such as 915mhz. However i need to know if i can also use these same devices to transmit meshtastic messages so i kind of develop a 2 for one network. This thing doesn’t work. It transmits packets via RF and internet but never decodes packets nor does the digi work. This is using firmware version .3 and hardware version of the T TWR Plus 2.0. How much of this worked for you when you first set it up? If it all worked, have you updated it since and does it still work?
