The grain is probably caused by a too high ISO number? Maximun 200 ISO in well lit places or it will be grainy

Valdrin Bytyqi Generally speaking, the Canon 60D is intended to be a more capable than the 700D because the 60D is a mid-range SLR whereas the 700D is an entry-level SLR. However, considering the fact that the 700D is a newer model compared to the 60D, the 700D is more improved than the 60D in many cases. The 60D is more comparable with the 600D because they were released roughly around the same time. A later released model of mid-range Canon SLRs is the 70D, more comparable with the 700D here. If the question was between the 700D and the 60D, I'd suggest the 700D just because it's a later model, and there are a bit more improvements that come with time. If the question was between the 700D and the 70D, a more suitable opponent, then it's 70D all the way because you have a the upgrades that come with later mid-range, not an entry level DSLR.
