It is very likely to see a Santa Rally. In fact, according to monthly statistics, December is a positive month 75% of the time (SPX, since 1950).

spy looks like the same set up as september 18th ish, false spike up, then slam down to retest the 597 support in the next day or two, then within a day or a gap up, itll hit the 609 ish level.
