Sven, volgens mij qua organisatie toepasbaar bij alle leeftijdsgroepen hoor. De specifieke opdrachten die ik hier gebruikte lijken me haalbaar en uitdagend voor die leeftijdsgroepen. Anderzijds vind ik 1v1 vormen bij de jongste groepen veel belangrijker dan 2v1 (waar een dribbel maar 1 van de 2 opties is om de tegenstander te passeren). Rekening houdend met de leeftijdsspecifieke kenmerken van kinderen... eerst baas over de bal, dan over de tegenstander (1v1 in al zijn vormen), dan baas over de situatie (functioneel - wedstrijdecht) Groeten

Sorry Mr Coach...analitical technical drills haven't any impact over the perception under pressure when the player is in the game. This kind of training is discontinued and unidirectional, so the child is literally focused on facilities of movement and decisions all time...Good luck and sorry to be frank !!! It was my point of view.

Thanks for your feedback but obviously, i don't agree. In my opinion, analytical drills (with specific focus and coaching on individual skills) are crucial in player development, especially in the golden age. Players who master the ball are more comfortbable on the ball, have the time and the confidence to look over the ball, and have more chance to deal with game situations. It goes without saying that analytical training is just a small part of football development but it's a crucial part! Even in older agegroups individual ball mastery should be integrated in for example warm ups. As a youth coach, it's my obligation to provide my players with "weapons" they can use in real game situations under pressure. If you only train under pressure, players will never discover all the possibilities of their body an feet and will never exploit their full potential!

This type of training would be a problem if it was the only type of training used. But practices like this help players to get comfortable with the ball and develop the skills needed to play effectively under pressure. So yes these practices do not have an obvious parallel to the game but that doesn't mean they have no place in well planned, progressive training sessions!
