trying to fix a friend's and will only run with choke open, all jets cleaned. Also which way should the float be facing because you put it in the opposite way it came out.

Hi,great video,my son’s quad will only run on half/full choke,is this because of a clogged up carb?

Philip Mcelhone no not yet but it does seem to be running better now and I haven’t touched the carb,sorry I couldn’t be more helpful

@@GGGaming-nv1np Turns out I was being a biff, all my kids bikes and quads are choke down for on so presumed this was the same. took the filter off and noticed it was the other way. Running fine now.

hi, i have one of these. i noticed that when the fuel switch is at the on position, fuel starts dripping out of the over slow pipe, i know its an issue with the float, but how can it be resolved?

This happens when the float can no longer shut off the fuel supply, 90% of the time its caused by dirt in the float needle valve. Other times you may need to bend the prongs out a touch so the float can shut off the fuel easier

Make sure the clamps are tight. If not, use zip ties (if ure referring to the fuel hose). If ure not referring to that and referring to the overflow tube on the carb, then your idle screw is too loose and needs tightened
