1) Application Layer: Application layer provieds user interface, used by end-user such as web browsers, Gmails, ms-word etc. (Ex. HTTP, FTP, POP, SMTP, DNS). 2) Presentataion Layer: It is responsible for translate the data in readable format, encryption and decryption (mp3, .doc, .pdf. .exe). 3) Session Layer: This layer chcek and established the connection between sender and receiver. 4) Transport Layer: Transport layer converts data into segments, means data dividing into small small packets. 5) Network Layer: This layer is responsible for transfer the data over the network, select the best path to deliever the data, TCP/ UDP, Switches and Routers works on Network layer, attach source and destination IP Address. 6) Data Link Layer: Mac address binding , error detection and correction capability. 7) Physical Layer: The physical layer is responsible for the physical cable or wireless connection between network nodes.

Beautifully explained. One small correction which I found out on web is :- In OSI model Transport Layer is responsible for end to end communication(While going through the video I thought Session Layer was called end to end layer, maybe I misunderstood that but just wanted to mention it).
