Diesel works but since it has oily content it catches dust. After cleaning i prefer a mist layer of kerosene to clean dry everything.

Diesel should not apply for engine cleaning. Diesel affects to rubber gasket material to expand and damages 0 rings..🤷‍♂️

no. once you cleaned it. Let it dry itself, or throw some hot air blower... only after hours should you start.. so that every sensors are dry.. this will avoid electrical failures
