How grippy are the sides? Looks really nice but I’m not a fan of super grippy textures so I was just wondering.

This year my favorites are Synthesis and Gen 5. One of the key reasons is the grippiness on the sides. It add so much to how these cases feel in the hand and make them much easier to pick up compared to, say, Sheath. Going forward, I will hardly be buying cases without side grip.

60 days later my gen 5 phone rebel is still killing it. Durable, no chips after drops, strong MagSafe and grippy. Changing buttons to titanium blue and silver gives it nice custom look too.

The biggest compliment I can give for my Caudabe Sheath is this; Had I bought, and handled, this before pre-ordering the Andar Aspen, then I wouldn't be expecting an an Andar delivery any day now. For me, the Sheath perfect, as far as I am concerned. From the looks, the feel, fit and texture - it's everything I could want in a phone case. I'm sure I'll enjoy the Aspen when it arrives and I'm looking forward to breaking the leather in, but the next iPhone I buy will be protected by Caudabe and only Caudabe.

Caudabe Sheath has always been my go to. Not sure about others but mine seems to have a noticeable bump where the MagSafe ring is. You can kind of see it in the video here too at 25:14

Tee, you did a great job but the Enzo Aramid should have been higher IMO. I have that case and the gray Sheath and I love both of them. I’ve gone back and forth between them but I always seem to go with the Spigen. It just looks so classy and feels like it’s just perfectly molded for the iPhone 15 Pro. The Sheath looks great but has a more non-stylish look to it. I’m sure it’s more protective but that Enzo Aramid! Man it’s a tough choice!

I was not a fan of the Spigen Enzo Aramid. Too slippery and too hard to remove. I thought I was breaking my phone. I’m now on the Pitaka MagEZ Case Pro 4. No complaints here, best case I ever had. 👍 Also a bit of feedback, I think you’re focused a bit too much on the MagSafe strength. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to use strength to rip my accessories off when I’m on the go. Too strong magnets could be a downside also.

I've tried a few cases on this list, but the only one I like is Mous. I get it every year and every year it ends up being my favorite case. It just has such a great quality and feel. This year I purchased the Bamboo version for my titanium iPhone 15 pro max and it looks so nice. Also, the branding does not bother me personally. It's very subtle.

Everyone thinks the case they use is the best just because you have a favourite case does not make it best. Perhaps trying a case for a while then giving a review may help with how great a case is. Brand new cases always look so nice but when you spend some time with it your opinions can change. I have purchased hundreds of cases because people in youtube said they were great then when the case comes in and I put it in my hand things change a lot. The only way to know if you like a case is to buy it it’s the only way judge a case based on your own experience not what others say.

I bought almost 5 cases this year 😂😂 went crazy with cases shopping but sheath is my favorite and that grey looks amazing. I just keep going back to caudabe sheath it’s just perfect. The texture, design, feel in the hand have no match. Lot of cases have issues with plugging some usb c cables but didn’t have any issue with the sheath.

I love Mous cases but like you stated, the quality has been a bit variable recently and for my iPhone 15 Plus, I gave up due to the dodgy volume buttons on my example. And to be fair, the iPhone 15 Pro version also had an issue with the volume buttons - but they worked unlike the 15 Plus version. I think the mistake Mous make is using a single rocker type button with the little built up piece at each end. The built up piece was missing on the down volume side of the 15 Plus case meaning that it basically didn't work at all. And while I love (and own) the Caudate Sheath too, I just find it to slippery for my use case. dBrand on the other hand knocks it out of the park and is my default for all my devices wherever possible. Hands down the mous limitless 5.0, it’s the perfect case, felt on the inside grips on the side , minimal case, the carbon fibre is perfect and most importantly for me it’s definitely the most durable out of all the case when there is a drop , I work in the trades, construction sites are not nice to my phone or cases and this this still looks new, the other ones looks nice if you guys use them in an office or day to day but trusting protection and look, MOUS is the best all around in my opinion, hit it out of the park!!!!

Thanks for the fun video, been waiting for this one! I pretty much agree with your list though I’d bump the Mous up to #2, drop the Sheath behind the Synthesis, and move the Phone Rebel to #1. My problem with the Sheath is that both copies I received had a MagSafe indentation on the back that continued to get worse over time. Hoping that’s something Caudabe corrects as I really like the case otherwise.

Try the FloLab Terratact case. NAPA Leather, Metal buttons including action, solid fit and no branding outside. Just all black leather case. I think it’s much better than Apple Leather ones from previous years. You definitely gon like it.

I like a lot of the choices in your top 10. Only one I dislike is Pitaka MagEZ Pro 4 considering the price you pay and not having super strong MagSafe Magnets. Probably the only one I wouldn’t purchase but I think all your other choices are very interesting cases. So I bought the UAG Monarch Pro Kevlar case with magsafe in the gun metal / black color with the red highlights at the 3 corners and I have to say I’ve never had such a dope case that I used to buy like 20+ cases for my phone and this case will stay on my Iphone 15 Pro Max for the remainder of its life. Tee I think you need to force yourself to use it for an extended period 1) nicest buttons 2)concave grip most comfortable grip on a phone 3)best leather on the back and tpu that will give it more protection and show less wear over time

As much as I love my nomad, Hane, I love the, and our Aspen that much better. The leather they use, and how it is old and tan feels so much more superior in my hand than the nomad does, don’t give me wrong, nomads a great case, but I think that the Andar is that much better. Just got my camel with the action button and it’s my favorite of the colors right now but the dark brown and the technically red are pretty dope too, and have got comments on all three colors.
