Since its release, this case has been getting so much negative coverage that I decided to grab one and see for myself and I have to honestly say, its not that bad! Only time will tell how this material wears over time!

I think another problem with this case is that it's priced the same as a leather case from Apple, and a good chunk of people who have bought Leather cases before find this finewoven case inferior in quality. It's not the worst case in the world, but I think under that audience I can understand the hate.

i bought my leather case and before a month had passed the corners were losing colour the corners were the fail points of the old cases and i think the case’s bumper protects that failpoint my silicone case was more durable than the leather it lasted 8 months before it completely fell apart

It’s definitely not worth the same price as the leather case. If they would’ve made it $30 that would’ve been more reasonable still expensive though for the quality but reasonable. I’m a leather person and I’m not happy that Apple ditched that and I doubt it’s going to make any significant difference because the cows are already dead. The leather is just using every part that nothing goes to waste.

I’m using this case right now and I’m loving it. Super comfortable to hold, much lighter than leather, and plenty robust for drop protection. Recommend you try it for yourself and return it if you really hate it, instead of immediately rejecting it because of bad reviews!

I agree also, darker shades are better for finewoven and scratching the case isn’t as easy as people say it is, it has to be intentional and your nails have to dig into it. I tested the scratch resistance with my nails and with my keys there’s nothing there. Understand taking advice from people you don’t know on KZbin doesn’t do any justice lol. People probably throw the phone on desks or machinery.

I ordered one because I always order a leather case every year for my new iPhone from Apple, but after two days I had to return it. It just looked terrible, scratched up super easily and honestly felt really cheap and is not worth anywhere near what they’re asking. The leather case was actually premium and felt premium. This just feels like junk.

I have the Evergreen Finewoven case with the Blue Titanium iPhone 15 Pro Max. It has a unique texture that I really like and looks premium. I dropped my phone onto concrete when I was sitting down and it has left some small dents in the material, so it's probably not as durable as leather or silicone. It hasn't happened yet, but I think the worst thing about the case is that sticky dirt or food may get trapped in the fibers, which will be hard to clean.

It is pretty funny how the internet is judging this case on the basis of how it will look like trash 6 months from now, yet the case is the first of its kind. It's ignorant to assume anything at this point because this is brand new material. All of my previous iPhone cases were Apple leather cases and since they're no longer available I went the fine woven case in pacific blue - I really like it so far. If my case ends up looking like trash 6-months from now, then so be it, and I'll find something else.

I bought the new wallet made with the same material, in dark blue. It’s honestly a great little accessory and looks classy and elegant, also holds 3 cards from the get go. It’s one week old and sometimes it gets marks, but it goes away. Really happy with it so far.

I like my Taupe, the wear has been minimal and it still looks great. I'm ok with the sides, it actually is the same fine woven material but they coated it with an epoxy that makes it feel plastic like... apple did it to prevent staining of the parts you touch the most. I'm still undecided if I would ever buy another (and suspect the drama this year means Apple will abandon the design for next year) but its been WAY better than the folks who intentionally damaged their brand new cases made it out to be.

No doubt that leather is better. But I really liked the case and how light it is. Amazing buttons to be honest perfect. Also not sure what material the sides are but they are very smooth which is nice. Overall happy with it and doesn’t add bulk.

Love your videos! I got the FineWoven case for the iPhone 15 Pro and I will return it. Not due to what most people complain about, though: durability seems good, as well as the feel (it’s okay). The rim is also FineWoven with a coating. Fabric seems very durable and washable. However, my unit has misaligned buttons and cutouts. It also creaks. Action button wobbles, volume down doesn’t have a detent and is too easy to press. Volume up is normal. Same for power. USB cutout is misaligned and barely accommodates the stock cable, and cuts into my pinkie. Seams are also misaligned. One side cuts into the hand unlike the other. I loved Apple’s leather cases despite them not having great patina. I am very sad now. Ordered the Mujjo leather case instead. Will probably never go back to Apple cases ever again in my life, unless they bring leather back or do something incredible with them.

It’s not the case that’s the issue, it’s just the price. The case is actually a dope case and feels great in hand. However is it worth $60…..absolutely not. It’s more like a $35-$40 case all day. There are plenty of iPhone users that will def prefer the fine woven over a leather or silicone. So everyone just jumping on the “hate” bandwagon needs to stop. And price wise is all personal preference, some people have no issue spending $60 on this case and will be plenty happy with it.

Honestly, the problem isn’t that the case gets scratched, its that even if you’re cautious with the case, you’re bound to see nicks within a week or two. Sure, the case is meant to protect the phone, but if you’re dropping all that money on a case, it should at least retain its new condition for at least more than a few days.

Why is this dude so desperate to convince us that the worst iPhone case out there is worth a try? That's the problem with these reviewers. They have the income and the connections to try product after product after product, so they don't care if they get a dud because they know they'll be rocking a different one the next day. My initial reaction was "trash" and disappointment that they discontinued leather. But when I got the taupe in hand, it looks pretty nice against the natural titanium. My opinion immediately started to shift. I kinda feel like it looks MORE premium alongside my 13 Pro in an old apple leather case (feels cheap though tbh). After using the 15 pro with no case since I got it though, my main complaint with the finewoven is how slick it feels (mainly the sides). It almost feels more slippery in my hand than the phone with no case does. So now I'm on the fence for that reason. I'm probably going to return and wait for Andar to release an aspen with action button.

I ordered one and returned it after 2 days. It's too slick in the hand and the sides are a big part of the problem. I also thought it looked cheap. The fine woven material looks just a like a regular fabric, nothing special. I wish they made it with either the felt lining they use on the inside of the silicone cases or alcantara suede. I'm using the apple silicone case until I find something that I really like more. Any suggestions on a nice suede case that isn't bulky?

I picked it up and found the material to be really similar to microfiber but worse as it feels like nails on a chalkboard to me. Also scuffed really easily. Picked up the Peak Design case (still waiting for it to ship) but I got their MagSafe wallet and the canvas material is MUCH better.

I knew you were a real one when you got the 14 plus. That’s why I still watch your channel. A lot of KZbin reviewers like pandering to the Android mob and bash Apple products. Does Apple have some issues? Yes. However, I don’t see as much hate when a pixel is overheating. And as a person who has a s23 plus, you can’t go that hard on Apple for heat issues. Bc the case will have stains on it forever every time I eat lunch or my kid picks up the phone. Plus it’s slippery as any other case in the world. The case is awful. It isn’t going to last because I had a stain that I had No Idea where it came from, and I tried to get it out with some solution and couldn’t. Week in it has a ring where mag safe has charged it 3-4 times. It’s BAD

I think it feels nice on the phone, but out of the box it does not feel anywhere near as premium as the leather cases. So far I like the way it looks, but we’ll see how it holds up. The biggest problem I think is just the price. If it was like 1/2-2/3 the price of leather I think a lot of people would be more satisfied. It’s just that this does not feel like an adequate leather replacement. At some point I’ll probably try out an Andar leather case once this one starts getting beat up.
