@@DareDlive I know this is an old comment, but this is something that I have been considering lately: Who cares about transmission loss if I can run an electric motor at its lowest amperage at many different speeds and choose how much torque multiplication I want?

@@johnraconteur1723 u could use manual transmission, but it has to be designed specifically for an electric motor. When u shift up, load on the motor goes up, motors consume energy based on the load. Having a 2 or 3 speed manual transmission might be fine, if u do the calculations

Your idea was brilliant as you had so much patience you can do better by installing the motor on the engine by removing the engine head and crank assembly parts excluding the shaft connecting the clutch and coil. Read my other detailed message for all. good luck

Depends on motor power U can calculate speed by calculating the resistance forces, then equate to find the speed

I think it's impossible to connect with gears. To connect, he has to create one off special crankshaft for this motor and motor has to have a both side shaft and crankcase does not have enough space even if he could do it. I guess this bike has no gear.

Are the gears still working after installation? I've watched these two types of installations... one that you've done... the other is using a BLDC hub motor... while the latter gives you hybrid configuration... you're free to use either the petrol or the electric ... the only advantage with the above shown configuration is if the gears are still working... however the second concern is... if the gears will still have the lubrication required?

Can it is possible to fill Engine oil? Incase engine oil is not filled then Gear and clutch will damage within short period of time. Motor fitment detail video is highly recommend, including modification made in motor. Regard

Remember if you need more milage first reduce the weight of vehicle or select less weight vehicle throw all engine part and extra if any Directly fix motor and keep the tyre pressure exact as mentioned by manufacturer Now try the vehicle see and feel the difference.

Now if you were really smart you would have "placed the motor" above the engine you will have to make some mounts. Take the head off the engine. "USE THE CRANK DRIVE CHAIN" to go to the motor that now sits where the cylinder head used to be. Just attach a "Sprocket" the electric motor to pick up the drive chain. Now you can use all the gears still and are ready to go.

I would say yes. The transmission is housed in the same case as the engine. No motor oil means that the transmission is not lubricated.
