agar by mistake floating box ke andhar water jayega tho bahuth danger hoga ,tap use karnevaloku 230volt ka shock milega.ye floating sensor water level controller ke saath use karne se 100 percent safe rahega.

240 volt is too dangerous to run through plastic water tank.Its more safe to use isolated circuit or low voltage circuit. Overflow cut off system which directly installs on motor starter using very low voltage is far better choice.

it should only turn on moter when tanki water level is less then 50%. In current scenario it will turn on moter every 95% water level which isn't a good practise q k din mai 40 time moter chalu hoga.

You are right, it will increase the bill. But this is short cut and very dangerous. Must use low volt like with 24 volt.
