Whether it's manual or automation: Both includes manual testing, if you need to test a process end to end, you have to execute it once manually to ensure everything is working, & then proceed with automation. Certifications like ISTQB really helps in some JDs it's required to have ISTQB or TMAP.

During layoffs or if there are any budget issue for the company, QA's , Scrum Master's and few Product managers are the first person to be laid off. This is my own experience from last 8 years of experience working with big MNC's. Seen a lot of layoffs since 2015 till 2023 and it's true story and most of the time they fire 90% of QA's and 95 % scrum masters. Also QA is highly underrated job if you have some personal aspiration to grow big within the organization. You will be less valued till you become some kind of lead or architecture. Most of the big tech companies now do the automation by using developers as it is pretty easier for them to write a code and make to less dependency to the QA's.

one thing all QAs should learn is that they should not only focus on finding issues but also focus on why that issue is coming and in what scenario, this will be more helpful for developers. But in general, what we see is that QAs feel good when they find issues but at the same time it becomes very headache for developers specially when the issue is intermittent. But in any way breaking things is much easier than building them.

The 1st conflict between development and testing is - A freshers or min 2yrs of experience, can get 35+LPA as a developer in a product based company, if that person goes in testing, never get that much of amount in that period of time..!!!!

Knowledge is bread and butter in the IT Field, someone given 10 years to acquire a niche skill and now earns in lacs for investing his life then someone says share your knowledge to everyone. it's not fair. Knowledge is your USP/IP. If you want to avail free knowledge then go to youtube, where content creator earns by spreading their knowledge. For example, India can't develop a Jet engine till now and you want to let Boeing share their knowledge free with India. then why India would buy a plane from Boeing? Its Business man, Business can not run on emotions, it runs by hard work.

@sonalpriya17422 жыл бұрын
Ofcourse you have scope, you can showcase your coding skills by solving leet code and mention that in your profile, that will add a great weightage to your profile for getting short listed in the companies which are hunting for talent more than marks secured. Also you can showcase your skills through your GitHub. I am a 9pointer and have been a topper throughout but skills are much more important than marks. And we need to be better in what we do, one is not judged by their marks everywhere, so please don’t worry.
