hi there are reel to reel deck made in 10 and lower i used to put ad's in the yellow papers in the uk and the wifes were left gear to them it was just a old tape deck this was before youtube i used to get offered alot of gear big time you don't see alot of it now USA there;s alot more tape decks note if you are likely leave hard to find gear behide make a good will i have seen alot of gear ending up in a skip and it pays to have all the gear you have working right why i love to see people like you fixing them up

The tape deck playback is coming from the internal record/playback preamp. Our bench testing amp is a Technics SU-G700.

It’s too bad they don’t manufacture those types of machines anymore. It’s probably because they’re complex to manufacturer today because they would want something that is simple cheap and fast to manufacture.
