@@KeesvanBelzen oh really ? odd it should've sorted the display did you mount the capacitor the right round you could also replace the other near by capacitor maybe upload a video of your unit for me .. to see

Thanks for the video! I replaced the caps and resoldered the transistors and everything that seems suspicious. The flickering and brightness issues solved. But one problem remained. Sometimes there is no display at all and I have to knock or hit the chassis near the display to work again. What do you think?

Take an insulated screwdriver and put pressure on various areas. Look for solder joints with a half moon crack. On mine wiggling the power on switch made mine change brightness...dexoit helps.

Hi, thanks for your video but my problem is somewhat different. My display is fine and i can change equalizer settings ok but my display doesn't bounce to the music. Do the bad capacitors also stop the display bouncing to the music?

I would say' bad caps would Not be your issue

​@@sabs1970I paid a repair shop to recap it and nothing changed. I wasn't happy with the sound quality either so I returned the sound processor back to the eBay seller. Other people on a FB page also reported poor sound quality from this sound processor
