Rough handling of the tonearm and attaching without turning the volume down aside, the SP10 MKll is a superb turntable, one of the best - I have the same EPA B500 armbase and EPA A250 tonearm on mine and it is a wonderful combination, the on-the-fly is even more precise than the one found on the SL1200/1210 and is priceless for dialing in your cart during set-up / alignment, wouldn't be without it. I'm using a very nice re-tipped Ortofon Cadenza Black moving coil and the result is A1.

This is so painful to watch - first the speakers are nearly damaged because the stereo wasn't muted while the armtubes were swapped, then the straight arm rolls away probably damaging the phono cartridge 🤪😭

The speakers will not be damaged by that, most amplifiers also have a protection circuit incase the signal was indeed loud enough to damage the speakers. And the straight arm clearly had no cartridge mounted.
