HSMW is hands down so advanced, not only their engineering is good. They got europe's biggest educational tv studio that even makes tv broadcasters jealous. They are one of the few places in germany where you can study crime profiler and have a famous prof for it. When coming to Mittweida for studies you have so many well practical options to choose from.

Thanks for the explanation of this concept. Makes me remind of my current high school. We have hands on experience since the very first week (teaching basic tool use and basic physics and tool concepts) and as the years pass we have to choose between an aeronautical or avionics technitian, where you get taught through experience. On the last year everyone has to form groups and create a project (making a pulsejet, robotic hands, drones or restoring our engines and aircrafts). After that you grafuate with contacts with companies, universities and with true hands on experience. Great deal for having to spend one extra year here compared to the rest of schools.

What other Unis besides Ingolstadt and Cranfield would you recommend for Motorsport Engineering?

Oxford Brookes, Southampton for Racecar Aerodynamics and Cranfield are the Top 3 in the UK. In Germany you have very good mechanical engineering and automotive engineering courses, but in the UK, you can focus on motorsport only.
