Range has not been problem for me, "driving range" that is. I did a 25 mile long drive and the battery perfectly consumed 25 miles. My biggest problem with the car so far is the mysterious vampire drain.

We have a 2021 Model Y LR , delivered November 2021. I agree with most of what Kevin said, however I want to comment on his insurance experience. We traded in a 2017 Nissan Armada for the MY. The Armada if insured today for 6 months would be $939, for the same 6 month period the Model Y will be $589 a healthy savings of $350. Neither vehicle was or is financed, I live in Middle Tenn, close to Nashville, I am 66y/o retired and my wife 62 is listed as primary driver. We are with USAA since 1984.

It’s only the 220v plug in the video description that’s $9.99. Charging with it is about an hr slower overnight. He left out that the charge you plug into the 220v Mobile Connector charge cord still costs $230.
