Instead of putting a thicker skim coat on only the center of the tile, not getting the coverage to the corners which are the weakest point, makes no sense. I would have preferred to see a thin back butter over the entire tile. If the floor is straight and your portland slurry is adequate the coverage should be near 100 % this way. Would love to see this in your next video...btw I'm a tile and stone setter of nearly 20 years experience.

Eles usam o método antigo , aqui no Brasil a muito tempo atrás já foi assim . Ao invés de argamassa usavam cimento.

@@jma5177 Verdade amigo embora eu não tenha visto pessoalmente esse método , já ouvi falar muito . Outra coisa q observei é q eles trabalham dessa forma pq aplicam a cerâmica no mesmo dia q faz o contrapiso. Dessa forma fica mais fácil de trabalhar já q é muito difícil usar a argamassa sobre o contrapiso fresco.

@@binhosantos1363 Sim, esse é o grande "problema". Você faz o contrapiso e em seguida, (método usado por meu pai e outras pessoas que vi fazer. ) você joga o pó de cimento à mãos cheias. Em seguida joga água com uma trinca até virar uma lama, (os asiáticos pulam essa etapa e jogam logo uma nata de cimento e água). Na minha opinião bem mais prático e eficiente. Bem, depois do pó de cimento e a agua você vem colocando as peças cerâmicas. depois vc vem batendo com uma desempenadeira, sendo que antes vc novamente joga água. Ufa!!!! até cansei,rs.

Oh my god , too much work for a few tiles. Also, lots of hollow spots behind the tiles will lead to a crack or them getting loose. Grout spacer!!!!!!?????? I wish labour was that cheap in the west.
