Most teachers don't explain these techniques to their students unless the student takes classes for a number of years. But, some students don't have the patience for this. They think that music is not for them and drop out. Some teach to only their favorite students. That's why music seems more difficult than it is. If everybody taught like how you are teaching (you are teaching it like it is Math or Science), Hindustani music will stay for a long long time to come. If not, one day we will lose it because it is never written in any books like this nor is it taught like this. Kudos to you for your service for keeping Hindustani music alive and making it feel simple! THANK YOU!!

Thanks... few things may be mastered with science but I have known no science or technique to master the art of aesthetics in improvised music, which takes years of practice listening and learning, even after that people might lack on aesthetics, that's how artists are different.

I love your videos mam. I would like to suggest a way in which your followers and audience (which includes me as well) can learn from you better. I suggest this model: 1. Showing which sargarms you are singing in writing during entire duration of the video. 2. You sing and demonstrate once with full volume 3. then your followers gets to sing what you just sang once (maybe with the accompany of harmonium sound in the background) while following the sargams on the screen. Will that be possible mam? I know it takes a lot of time, but it would be a wonderful way of learning.
