How do you control the drum machine and the synth with the sq-1

drumlogue is controlled by built-in sequencer. minitaur is controlled by sq-1. they are connected with a sync cable.

how is minitaur sequenced? with sq1? if so, with midi or cv

I‘m controlling minitaur with sq1's midi. It is possible with cv, but midi gives a better feel.
