Soooo glad you finally deigned to mention Traktor - they don't have the marketing might of Pioneer but they produce superior gear and software and I hate using anything else. I'll do it but it makes me mad 😂

I started out on Traktor. Each update got worse until it got to the point where it constantly crashed. My laptops were powerhouses so it wasn't them. Switched to VDJ and never had a problem.

I actually just got this controller recently and love the TT mode. I am a young DJ and never grew up with vinyl but using them in the "old fashioned way" is great. It would be cool if you revisited the controller doing it in TT mode. The only thing I don't like is how glitchy traktor can be sometimes.

Hey Crossfader, Love the Mix! Could you please do a comparison video between the ddj-1000 and the ddj-800? Is it still worth it buying the ddj-1000 even though it’s a older model?

Thom we can look at doing a comparison yeah but to answer your question in short... yes it’s still worth it. The DDJ 800 was designed to fill the gap between the 400 and 1000 rather then add loads of new features it’s basically a 2 channel version of the DDJ 1000. The DDJ 1000 has jog wheels just like cdjs which the DDJ 800 doesn’t have. So, even though it’s older the technology isn’t any older and it’s still one of the best controllers out there in our opinion.

Crossfader thank you for the quick answer! I just ordered the DDJ-1000 so looking forward to recieving it. Been using the DDJ-RB for the last year. Cant seem to find a size comparison video anywhere between the 800 and the 1000 unfortunately... really curious about that.
