Hopkins latest album Singularity is the only other album besides for Enos Ambient on land 4 ive had a mystical experience while listening on headphones tripping on ketamine. The level of high resolution detail happening in and amongst the sounds is so similar to Enos incredible works of art with the ambient series. Oddly enough you wrote this comment much before the latest album. But i have no joke been saying the exact same thing to friends and other music lovers. Touch Hombre

The whole "room" theory is essential for any electronic artist. Especially in Techno music. The sound design is just as important as the composition, if not even more so. Acoustics work in spaces (sound-wave travel, you know), so creating a 3D-like room, or a cube, with your mind is really not a bad idea. Kids, take notes from this guy. He knows what he's doing.

"blindly heading forwards" that is so accurate when it comes to making music, blueprints never work, spontaneous impulses are what works

I totally agree with the Synesthesia element in his music. 'Immunity' is one of the few albums that I actually feel Synesthesia. Top guy.

I agree so much, the harder stuff is so much more difficult to make. Sometimes I get frustrated because I wonder if music should be so hard, and maybe my head isn't in the right place because softer chiller vibes come so much more easily, but then I also know that without the higher energy stuff, without that struggle, for me, I couldn't dig it as much, especially live. Anyway, that thought of hard work vs easy flow was weighing heavy on my mind after yesterday's kinda painful session, so to know that someone as talented as you goes through the same struggle kinda helped me get some perspective. thanks dude, looking forward to seeing your show in LA.

I totally agree, he's very talented and I really love the melody of Private Universe. The first time I heard it, felt so memorized and had to save it as a favorite for listening in the future. Keep up the awesomeness, beats, and please try to make more like Private Universe. Mr Hopkins, you are very talented and love your techno beats......you are a beautiful artist and may God Bless you for many more years!!!! I absolutely love how you have just the right amount of bass with all the other techno melodies. The bass drop is brilliant and perfectly balanced. Can't get enough of it!!! Can you please do a video for us and show us how you did the song Private Universe? Thanks and nothing more than RESPECT FOR YOU!!!!

A local lad to me not that I've ever seen him (Kingston/Wimbledon area).Jon is as important today as the greats of the past. Seriously... I can only dream of making music as good as Jon's.And one day a collaboration would make my life. To say I like Jon's music is an understatement.
