For those of you who didn't work this way I have another solution. I use oppo M31 and suddenly my connection was lost when I tried to connect it. It's connected with my phone but there's no audio. But I can use the buttons from the earpiece to play and pause. I tried the method from this video but it still didn't work. So I tried my own way and it worked. I disconnected my earpiece/neckband from the phone, turned off the bluetooth from your phone, turn off the earpiece and switch off/reboot my phone. Once it's on firstly I clear all the data/cache from the phone and I turned on the bluetooth. I start a fresh connection with clicking the lower volume button and power button. The available device is shown when we turn on the bluetooth and I connected successfully. Now it is normal as before. I'm not a technician but I face the problem like you so I thought it's worth sharing my knowledge.
