Quick question on OBS virtual camera: Do you by chance know of anyone who is using Mac? OBS released a beta verssion (26.0) that is supposed to work with Macs, but I haven't been able to figure it out. Thanks again for your help.

It is essentially impossible to build an audience streaming solely on KZbin though. KZbin has no way for people who don’t know you to find you. Twitch is the only way to go if your starting from zero and not using Facebook to drive friends to your stream etc.

Very informative! Question in channels 3-4 they are setup for mics...what preset do you have it on so the sound to get screwed from rodecaster mic settings?

Oh, I would go flat, but...I've changed a few things around since this video. I am running RCA stereo out from my mixer to the 1/8" stereo input on the Roadcaster Pro. I'm running my wireless mic through the mixer so I can turn the mic on and off without having to move to the Roadcaster to do so. Hope that helps! Here's the new setup - vimeo.com/506623518

i have a ddj flx4 and i cant get the audio output to obs, only the "prelisten" cue sound works with obs the main sound THE IMPORTANT ONE dosnt work ..? i use rekordblox, do i really need 3. party software to make that work ?? i think its buffeling that something thats that important dosnt work. (im using two different headphones) also the only way i can get it to work is the "use master +" option but it only works if i add the master option to the scnd headset, if i use it on the first one the one for the main sound the programm just crashes .. im at a point where im almost just quitting rekordblox maybe im just stupid.

I'm on hardware only, and have several Pioneer DJ mixers. DJM-900NXS2, DJM-450 & the DJM-2000, and all of those have a build in sound card. I have one computer setup to catch the analog audio coming out for any mixer I may use, but I have no experience how to get the digital audio configured to work with a live stream. I have my main workstation next to my DJ setup, so connecting a USB cable is no problem. Do you have any experience using one of those, or tips of how to use them to avoid spending money on even more mixers just to get digital audio in to the computer?

Hi Peter! So, you would need to select the DJ mixer as an input device in OBS and you should be good to go at that point. Either that, or pickup a cheap two channel audio interface, like this PreSonus (amzn.to/37RUwQR). Other than that, you should be okay. I used my DJM-850 via USB when running audio from my laptop to the mixer for my Karaoke night but I have not tried going the other way. It should work. If it doesn't work, you can always try a Y cable, RCA to 3.5mm and use the mic/line in on your computer to get the audio into the computer. @@dj-peterofficial2753 Right on man, I know it can be pretty confusing. I've been DJing for 20 years and have had a successful mobile DJ business until COVID hit. I started DJ Streaming in March of this year. Anyway, my streaming setup has changed since I made this video. Now I use two GoPro Hero 7 Blacks and a face cam and I have a multi-view setup so you see the three cameras at once. Here's a link to last week's stream. If you want to use 2 turntables, or 1 turntable and 1 Pioneer, the Rodecaster Pro you feature, is that suitable as a mixer or do you should we be looking at something esle? Do you recommend any? Back in the day, Numark was a name but that's a toy compared to a lot of others. Any insight greatly appreciated.

Hello Sean, I would recommend getting a DJ mixer to mix between the turntables. The Rodecaster is mainly an Audio interface to get direct audio into the computer.

The easier solution to the sound setup is to use your phone with AirPods or some earbuds like them. Record options for a few mins stop the stream check it out on the phone and make changes.

@@paxwebb You can get discovered better on Twitch through raids. If you have a good following elsewhere and aren't getting raids KZbin might be a good alternative. Mixcloud seems good too
