I installed Gcam after the video but when i compared the images of stock and gcam , i found the stock images to be way better except for the high saturation level on stock camera. The details are better with the stock camera along with dynamic range. The gcam images have very less details and i found distortion on zooming.

No the redmi note 7 pro's gcam is not that optimised and produce underexposed images.
